Part-Time Customer Service Consultant - Work from Home or Office - Donlen Corporation - Illinois

The Part Time Customer Service Consultant is responsible for providing service and answering calls for Donlen customers in our Fleet Maintenance Services department. The Customer Service Consultant will be providing guidance and service through timely communication with vendors, fleet managers and drivers by phone and email. This position will allow the employee to either work from home or the Buffalo Grove or Darien office. A combination of work from home and the office is negotiable.

Essential Job Functions:
Provide Excellent customer service to Donlen’s external customersCreate Purchase Orders online and provide minor vehicle maintenance approvalsEstablish and maintain service vendor relationships through transaction processingMandatory Requirements :
Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, effectively present information to customers, drivers, vendors and other employeesExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast pace call center environmentComfortable working in an environment that is a combination of teamwork and independence. In this role, you will be a part of a customer service team, yet you will be asked to work independently as wellDetail-oriented and organizedExcellent computer, typing skills (minimum of 25 words per minute)Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well.Basic aptitude of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.Understanding of basic math skillprincipals and be able to calculate percentages and discounts.
Ability to provide sound problem solvingPreferred Requirements :
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Requirements:
Past call center and customer service experienceDonlen is a Drug-Free Workplace. All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening.
